Floor plan for a girls dormitory at Camp St. Mary, 1963.

In 1931, Bishop Emmett Walsh purchased a section of land across the river from the original campsite.  Two large barracks for the children, a dining hall and a kitchen, a sisters’ convent, and a chapel were constructed. A long boat dock with a diving platform was built on the river.
